Chana/Sanagala Masala Curry recipe

Delicious Chana Masala preparation is So easy. It can be prepared in Just 15 to 20 mts at home with the below mentioned simple ingredients. Chana Masala is widely prepared in north India.



Ingredients:
  • Boiled Chole – 200gm
  • Chopped Onion - 60 gm
  • Chopped Tomato – 60 gm
  • Oil – 30 ml
  • ginger garlic paste-100 grms
  • coconut grate masala- 100 grsm
  • chilli powder- 50 grms
  • turmeric powder- 50 grsms
  • Salt – acc to taste
  • Water- 250ml

Preparation

  • Choose the good chana dall
  • Weigh 200gm of boiled chana dall
  • Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion to it and fry it till brown colour.
  • Now add chopped tomato, salt, chilli powder and turmeric powder and stir it for some time untill the tomoto gets mashed.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, coconut masala to the curry to get the fine gravy.
  • Add boiled chickpeas into the pan and stir it for 5 min then add water and bring it to boil and cover.
  • Simmer for 5min in low flame.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of ghee for finishing, and garnish with coriander.
